South Sevier is 3-0 against Water Canyon since December of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. South Sevier is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Utah's top teams: Kanab, who was ranked ninth at the time (South Sevier was ranked 18th). South Sevier managed a 59-55 win over Kanab on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Water Canyon played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 60-25 loss at the hands of Enterprise. The Wildcats have struggled against the Wolves recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

South Sevier's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.7 points per game. As for Water Canyon, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.

Everything came up roses for South Sevier against Water Canyon when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 68-30 win. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Water Canyon's Martha Jessop, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds.
