Softball Recap: Latin Romans vs. Rickover Naval Seadragons
Latin scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Rickover Naval Seadragons and snuck past 15-13. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Latin.
For Rickover Naval's part, Kayla Mateo was cooking despite her team's loss, firing off three home runs and seven RBI while going 3-for-4. Soleil Gonzales was another key contributor, going 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBI.
Latin's win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-5. As for Rickover Naval, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 10-6.
