Basketball Game Preview: Roy/Mosquero Blue/Lady Blue vs. New Mexico School for the Deaf Roadrunners

The Roy/Mosquero Blue/Lady Blue will square off against the New Mexico School for the Deaf Roadrunners at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Roy/Mosquero has 14 straight victories, New Mexico School for the Deaf has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Saturday, Roy/Mosquero made easy work of Des Moines and carried off a 57-35 win. The Blue/Lady Blue have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 73-28, which was the final score in New Mexico School for the Deaf's tilt against Cimarron on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Roadrunners can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Mexico basketball rankings (they are ranked 457th, while the Rams are ranked 55th).

Roy/Mosquero's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-5. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26.2 points. As for New Mexico School for the Deaf, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-13.

Everything came up roses for Roy/Mosquero against New Mexico School for the Deaf when the teams last played back in January, as the team secured a 72-35 win.
