Softball Recap: The Bay School Takes a Loss

The Bay School and Redwood Christian squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but The Bay School had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 11-10. The Breakers haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Claire Rogers-Lewis and Audrey Ball did some serious damage despite the final result: Rogers-Lewis went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI, while Ball went 2-for-5 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Rogers-Lewis has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Charlotte Wentworth, who went 3-for-5 with one stolen base and two RBI.

The Bay School's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Redwood Christian, they pushed their record up to 9-11 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

The Bay School does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Redwood Christian, they will take on Tomales at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
