Football Recap: Carlynton Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Carlynton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Waynesburg Central Raiders and fell 39-6. The Cougars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 25-0.

Despite the loss, Carlynton still got an impressive performance from Justin Berger, who rushed for 100 yards and one score.

Waynesburg Central's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Zachery Jiblits led the charge by rushing for 83 yards and a pair of TDs, while also throwing for 198 yards on 12 of 20 attempts. Roan Tustin was in the mix as well, providing the Raiders with two touchdowns.

Carlynton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Waynesburg Central, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-4 record.
