Basketball Game Preview: Sanger Indians vs. Panther Creek Panthers

The Sanger Indians will head out to face off against the Panther Creek Panthers at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Sanger comes in on 13 and Panther Creek on four.

On Tuesday, Sanger made easy work of Aubrey and carried off a 53-27 win. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 25 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Panther Creek). They blew past Gainesville, posting a 76-25 victory. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 90th, while the Leopards are ranked 903rd), the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Sanger has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points per game. As for Panther Creek, their win bumped their record up to 12-6.
