Edward Little gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener  on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Camden Hills Windjammers by a score of  8-3. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Red Eddies also won the last time the pair played  back in June of 2024.
 Kassidy Lobb spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned  (and one unearned) runs on five hits.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Emily Poulin, who  went 1-for-3 with three  runs, three  RBI,  and one  triple. Another player making a difference was  Kylee Lebrun, who  went 2-for-3 with one  run and one  RBI.
 We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Edward Little will  square off against  rival Messalonskee  at 9:00  a.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile, Camden Hills is set to  challenge  their familiar foe Skowhegan  at 2:00  p.m.  on Friday.
