Baseball Recap: Port Chester Comes Up Short

Port Chester was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Mamaroneck Tigers, falling 12-3.

Port Chester saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adam Castaneda, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. John Borzoni also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Port Chester's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Mamaroneck didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-4 win against Rye on the 10th. Hopefully Port Chester payed attention to the Tigers' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
