St. Edward moves to the top of the Midwest region.
The Midwest has a new No.1 team for the third week in a row after St. Edward (Lakewood, Ohio) moved to the top of the rankings this week after coming in at No. 4 in the regional rankings last week.
St. Edward takes over for Archbishop Moeller (Cincinnati), which spent one week at the top. Moeller had replaced Colerain in the top spot two weeks ago and currently sits in the No. 2 spot.
No other changes occurred at the top of the four other regions in the MaxPreps Regional Computer Football Rankings. Only six new teams joined the rankings this week: Holy Spirit (Absecon, N.J.), Hart (Newhall, Calif.), Kenton (Ohio), Mount Carmel (Chicago), Carroll (Southlake, Texas) and Katy (Texas).
The regional rankings are based on the
MaxPreps computer rankings. Record and ranking are included for each team.
