Basketball Recap: Oak Grove Takes a Loss

Oak Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 46-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Moss Point Tigers. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2019.

Oak Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Moss Point, their win bumped their record up to 5-11.

Oak Grove will square off against Petal at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Moss Point, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Hattiesburg at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
