Basketball Game Preview: Ribault Trojans vs. Fletcher Senators + Official Tickets

The Ribault Trojans will square off against the Fletcher Senators at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Ribault is headed into the game having just posted their closest win since January 4th on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 52-49 victory over Orange Park. Those 52 points were actually the fewest the Trojans have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Meanwhile, Fletcher narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Trinity Catholic 46-43. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Senators.

Ribault better keep an eye on Kenny Matty. He was instrumental in Fletcher's win, going 7-for-10 en route to 17 points. Matty's big performance that afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points.

Fletcher's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Ribault, their win bumped their record up to an identical 4-1.

Ribault didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Fletcher when the teams last played back in November of 2024, but they still walked away with a 59-53 victory. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Senators turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
