Baseball Recap: Farmington Comes Up Short

Farmington's last matchup with West Bloomfield could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Thursday. The Falcons lost 12-1 to the Lakers. The loss continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Lakers: they've now lost nine in a row.

Farmington saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Leo Pace, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run.

Farmington's defeat dropped their record down to 6-20. As for West Bloomfield, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

Farmington will square off against Bloomfield Hills at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for West Bloomfield, they will take on Walled Lake Western at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
