Soccer Game Preview: East Henderson vs. Enka + How To Watch

The East Henderson Eagles will head out to take on the Enka Jets at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

East Henderson took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They never let Pisgah get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for East Henderson's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Meanwhile, North Buncombe kept up with Enka until halftime on Wednesday, but afterwards: not so much. The Jets blew past the Black Hawks 5-2. Enka haven't had any issues with North Buncombe recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Enka hit North Buncombe with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Leo Romero (3), Caden Hoppensteadt, and Gardner Booth.

Enka's victory bumped their record up to 15-3-2. As for East Henderson, the win got them back to even at 11-11.

East Henderson might still be hurting after the 5-0 loss they got from Enka when the teams last played back in August of 2024. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
