Baseball Recap: Asher Takes a Loss

After flying high against Strother last Friday, Asher came back down to earth. Asher fell 10-7 to the Wright City Lumberjax on Tuesday. The Indians were not able to make up for their defeat to the Lumberjax from their previous meeting back in March of 2015.

Asher has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season. Wright City pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Asher will challenge Hartshorne at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wright City, they will face off against Tupelo at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Wright City is facing Tupelo at the right time seeing as Tupelo is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
