West Aurora had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.1 runs) and they went ahead and made it nine on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the West Chicago Wildcats with a sharp  11-1 victory. This was payback for the Blackhawks, who suffered  a  4-0  loss the last time these two teams met.

West Aurora pushed their record up to 11-1 with the  win, which was their fourth straight  at home. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for West Chicago,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-12.
