Basketball Game Preview: Lincoln Lancers vs. The Vanguard School Coursers

The Lincoln Lancers and The Vanguard School Coursers will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Saturday, Lincoln took a blow against DSST: College View, falling 73-28. The Lancers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lincoln's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Adeshina Alassani, who posted six points along with 12 boards and three blocks, and Nakhi Williams-Butler, who earned three points. The dominant performance also gave Williams-Butler a new career-high in boards (four).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask The Vanguard School). They blew past Thomas MacLaren School 89-57 on Wednesday.

Lincoln now has a losing record at 1-2. As for The Vanguard School, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
