After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Leadore, Challis was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against Watersprings by a score of 3-1. The Vikings have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Watersprings, too.

Challis had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-11, 25-14, 25-23.

The victory made it two in a row for Challis and bumps their season record up to 5-1. As for Watersprings, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-2.

Coincidentally, Challis and Watersprings will both be playing North Gem the next time they take the court. The Vikings will head out to face the Cowboys at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Watersprings will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
