Basketball Recap: College Prep Comes Up Short

College Prep lost a heartbreaker to Cornerstone Christian when they met back in December of 2019, and they left with a heavy heart again on Wednesday. The College Prep Cougars had to suffer through a 64-35 loss at the hands of the Cornerstone Christian Cougars. The match marked College Prep's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Cornerstone Christian was led to victory by Marcus Wagner and Ryan Seto. Wagner posted 11 points, while Seto put up ten points. Another player making a difference was Pierre Tyson, who earned eight points.

College Prep dropped their record down to 11-7 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Cornerstone Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season.

College Prep has already played their next matchup, a 69-60 defeat against St. Joseph Notre Dame on the 24th. As for Cornerstone Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 57-45 victory against Bentley on the 24th.
