Preview: Ludlow Panthers vs. Carroll County Panthers
Ludlow is 3-0 against Carroll County since January of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Ludlow Panthers' road trip will continue as they head out to face the Carroll County Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on December 30th. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
On Wednesday, Ludlow had to suffer through a rough 84-52 loss at the hands of St. Henry.
Meanwhile, Carroll County's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fifth straight loss. They took a hard 74-56 fall against Christian Academy. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Ludlow's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 4-7. As for Carroll County, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
Ludlow took their win against Carroll County in their previous meeting back in February by a conclusive 80-60. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ludlow since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
