Baseball Preview: West Chicago Wildcats vs. Ridgewood Rebels
For the second straight game, West Chicago will face off against Ridgewood. The Wildcats will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against the Rebels at 4:30 p.m. The last three games West Chicago has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Monday just wasn't the day for West Chicago's offense. They fell just short of Ridgewood by a score of 1-0 on Monday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Wildcats haven't been shut out since back in April.
For Ridgewood's part, not much got past Kyle Szewczyk, who gave up just a hit and racked up ten Ks to keep West Chicago off the board.
