Tupelo Christian Prep has gone  a perfect 10-0 against Wheeler recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Tuesday. We've got a battle between Eagles coming up. After  the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents,  one won't be so lucky on Tuesday.
Tupelo Christian Prep took a loss when they played away from home  on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Friday. They put the hurt on Baldwyn with a sharp  13-3 victory. Considering the Eagles have won ten matches by more than nine  runs this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Thomas Goralczyk tossed a big game,   striking out seven batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned  (and two unearned) runs off   five  hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in four consecutive appearances.

 At the plate,  Cullen Hobby was  incredible,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with one  home run, four  runs,  and three  RBI. Those  four  runs gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Logan Umfress, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs.
 Tupelo Christian Prep  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .548. They are  a perfect 8-0 when  they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, Wheeler waltzed into their game  on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Cardinals 15-5. With that  win, the Eagles brought their scoring average up to 6.3  runs per game.
 Brady Cobb made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing four innings while giving up  four earned runs off   three  hits. Cobb was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances. He has become a key player for Wheeler: the team is undefeated when he posts  at  least  two  runs, but 4-8 otherwise.
 In other batting news,  Sam Johnson was a standout: he scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances. He is becoming a predictor of Wheeler's success: when he posts  at  least two  runs the team is undefeated (and 4-8 when he doesn't).  Kirkland Gambill was another key player,  scoring a  run while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 Tupelo Christian Prep's victory was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 10-7. The  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Wheeler, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8.
Wheeler's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them:  Tupelo Christian Prep hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .357. It's a different story for Wheeler, though, as  they've  only  averaged .215. Will they be able to contain Tupelo Christian Prep's hitters?
 Everything went Tupelo Christian Prep's way against Wheeler in their previous meeting  back in April of 2024, as Tupelo Christian Prep made off with  a  16-1 win. Does  Tupelo Christian Prep have another victory up their sleeve, or will Wheeler turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
