Baseball Recap: Batesville Gets the Win

Batesville won the last time they faced Harrison and things went their way on Friday too. The Pioneers came out on top against the Goblins by a score of 11-8.

Gabe Bledsoe was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 3-for-5. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Dexter Chapman, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.

Batesville now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Harrison, their loss dropped their record down to 13-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Batesville will challenge Heber Springs at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Harrison, they will head out to face off against Mountain Home at 4:39 p.m. on Monday. The Goblins are facing the Bombers at the right time seeing as the Bombers are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
