Basketball Recap: Flushing Comes Up Short

Flushing managed to slip by Cardozo the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Red Devils took a blow against the Judges on Thursday, falling 34-6.

Leading Cardozo to victory were Mylie Morris and Hana Wong. Morris posted nine points and six boards, while Wong scored 11 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Angela Lai, who put up four points.

Flushing's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Cardozo, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Flushing didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 39-6 loss against John Adams on the 9th. As for Cardozo, they have also already played their next game, a 41-27 victory against Bayside on the 9th.
