Volleyball Recap: Rocky Mountain Prep SMART Comes Up Short

Rocky Mountain Prep SMART was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the DMLK Panthers. While the Ocelotls didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Panthers 25-18 in the first set.

Rocky Mountain Prep SMART started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-16, 25-19, 25-21.

Rocky Mountain Prep SMART's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for DMLK, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-4 record.

Coming up, Rocky Mountain Prep SMART will face off against KIPP Denver Collegiate at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for DMLK, they will square off against Stargate School at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
