Football Preview: Orestimba Warriors vs. Sonora Wildcats        
        
		
             The Orestimba Warriors will head out on the road to  face off against  the Sonora Wildcats  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both teams are still undefeated after  four-games, but that won't be the case come Friday.
 Orestimba's defense heads into the  matchup  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Friday. They claimed a resounding  50-0 win over Modesto Christian on the road. That looming  50-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Warriors yet this  season.
 Orestimba's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Jacob Valenzuela, who threw for 123 yards and three touchdowns on only ten passes.  Nicolas Cuevas was in the mix  as well, providing Orestimba with two touchdowns.
 Orestimba's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged three passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of  Richie Rivas and  Cristian Medina.
 Meanwhile, Sonora hadn't done well against Escalon recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Friday. Sonora was the clear victor by  a  35-14 margin over Escalon. Given the Wildcats' advantage  in MaxPreps' California football rankings  (they are ranked 102nd, while the Cougars are ranked 279th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 It was another big night for  Tommy Sutton, who rushed for 193 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.7 yards per carry. With that strong performance,  he is now averaging an impressive 108.8  rushing yards per game. Another player making a difference was  Brody Speer, who rushed for 78 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
 Orestimba's record now sits at 4-0. As for Sonora, their win was  their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 4-0.
 Orestimba was dealt a bruising  62-6 loss at the hands of Sonora in their previous matchup  back in November of 2015. That  match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Orestimba was down  41-0.
