Basketball Recap: Memphis East Takes a Loss

Memphis East lost against Whitehaven back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Memphis East Mustangs took a 68-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Whitehaven Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 79th, while the Tigers are ranked fourth).

Memphis East's loss dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Whitehaven, the victory was the 18th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 26-3.

As of now, neither Memphis East nor Whitehaven have any future games scheduled.
