Basketball Game Preview: Duanesburg Eagles vs. Watervliet Cannoneers

The Duanesburg Eagles will take on the Watervliet Cannoneers in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in Duanesburg's favor as the team sits on five straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Watervliet has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road also dating back to last season.

Duanesburg lost 60-40 to Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Watervliet came up short against Maple Hill on Friday and fell 42-35.

Duanesburg's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-2. As for Watervliet, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
