Basketball Recap: Central Lyon Takes a Loss

Central Lyon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the West Lyon Wildcats, falling 71-37. The Lions were not able to make up for their loss to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in January.

Central Lyon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for West Lyon, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Lyon will face off against Sioux Center at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for West Lyon, they will welcome Boyden-Hull at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in West Lyon's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
