Basketball Recap: East Central Now 8-2 over Last Ten Games

East Central won the last time they faced Chisholm and things went their way on Friday too. The East Central Eagles were the clear victor by a 76-53 margin over the Chisholm Bluestreaks. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 23 points or more this season.

East Central is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.7 points per game. As for Chisholm, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.

East Central will face off against Pine City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Central knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Pine City likes a good challenge. As for Chisholm, they will challenge Carlton/Wrenshall at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
