Soccer Recap: Monroe Starts Season with Win Against Harrison

Monroe had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Harrison Wildcats 2-1. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Monroe were the better team in the second half.

Nic Noe and Landon Smallwood scored both of Monroe's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Harrison's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
