The Hays Hawks will square off against the Rouse Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hays will be strutting in after a win while Rouse will be coming in after a loss.

Hays lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Leander, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's game. Everything went Hays' way against Leander on Tuesday as Hays made off with an 8-2 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hawks.

Alyza Rangel made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits. Rangel was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Eliana Villegas was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three RBI. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in RBI. Teuila Eteaki was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Rouse came up short against Liberty Hill on Tuesday and fell 8-5.
