Softball Recap: Kelliher/Northome Has No Trouble Against Cass Lake-Bena

Kelliher/Northome never let their opponents score on Monday. They put the hurt on the Cass Lake-Bena Panthers with a sharp 14-0 win. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by six runs or more this season.

Kelliher/Northome got a massive performance out of Kylee Binkley, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, four RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Auggie Poxleitner, who went 1-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base.

Kelliher/Northome pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Cass Lake-Bena, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

As of now, neither Kelliher/Northome nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
