Softball Game Preview: Bothell Cougars vs. Cedarcrest Red Wolves

The Bothell Cougars will face off against the Cedarcrest Red Wolves at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Kolbi Schmer was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run. She is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in each of the last three games she's played.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Cedarcrest's offense. They came up short against Woodinville on Friday, falling 11-0. Having soared to a lofty 23 runs in the game before, the Red Wolves' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Cedarcrest saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Paityn Craig, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Cedarcrest's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Bothell, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
