Football Recap: Lexington Takes a Loss

Lexington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Winchester Red & Black 48-6. While losing is never fun, the Minutemen can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts football rankings (they are ranked 213th, while the Red & Black are ranked 25th).

Lexington's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Winchester, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lexington is set to square off against their familiar foe Arlington at 12:00 p.m. on November 1. Meanwhile, Winchester will take on rival Belmont at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
