Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mauston). They took their match on Thursday with ease, bagging a 78-14 win over the Wautoma Hornets. The Golden Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Wautoma saw an underclassman step up: freshman Morgan Meyer posted eight points. Another player making a difference was Claire Swen, who had six points.

Mauston is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Wautoma, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

When Mauston and Wautoma next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose.
