Baseball Recap: York Suburban Trojans vs. Kennard-Dale Rams
York Suburban had lost three straight at home, but on Wednesday they dropped their record down to 2-12 to make it four. They came up short against the Kennard-Dale Rams, falling 13-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in March.
As for Kennard-Dale, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-3. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
For Kennard-Dale's part, Jake Harris made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Harris has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
