Morgan Flowe looked comfortable as she struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive pitching appearances.
At the plate, Hough got a massive performance out of Maylee Stroupe, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashlyn Rogers, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2.
West Charlotte's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Hough, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5.
