Volleyball Recap: Reagan Raiders vs. Ardrey Kell Knights
Reagan was the 3-0 winner over Ardrey Kell when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Raiders took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights on Saturday. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
Elly Randolph paced Reagan's offense, picking up 28 kills. Randolph got some help from Callie Largent and her 29 assists. Largent also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Klaire Weiss, each putting up two.
Among those leading the charge was Kirsten Mathews, who had nine digs and four assists. Those four assists gave her a new career-high.
Reagan's defeat dropped their record down to 20-6. As for Ardrey Kell, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.
