Basketball Recap: Momar Diakhate and Trey Williams Secure Win for White + How To Watch

White was handed a heart-breaking two-point defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Cristo Rey Dallas College Prep on Friday. The Longhorns were the clear victors by a 62-41 margin over Cristo Rey Dallas College Prep. Given the Longhorns' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 286th, while Cristo Rey Dallas College Prep are ranked 1388th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

White was led to victory by Trey Williams and Momar Diakhate. Williams shot 60% from the field to rack up 20 points along with five assists and five steals, while Diakhate dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten rebounds. The Longhorns are undefeated when Diakhate posts eight or more boards, but 6-7 otherwise. Joshua Jimison was another key player, putting up eight points and five rebounds.

White smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

The victory snapped White's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-7 record. As for Cristo Rey Dallas College Prep, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.
