After a string of four wins, Lancaster's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Highland Bulldogs by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.
Lancaster's defeat dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Highland, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-6.
We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lancaster is set to face off against their familiar foe Quartz Hill at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Highland will take on rival Littlerock at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
