Volleyball Game Preview: Paradise Bobcats vs. Durham Trojans

Paradise hasn't had much luck against Durham recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Bobcats will take on the Trojans at 6:00 p.m.

Paradise came up short against East Nicolaus on Thursday, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-16, 25-9.

Meanwhile, Durham had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-17, 25-14.

Paradise better keep an eye on Isla Stephens. She was instrumental in Durham's win, getting 14 digs and five aces. Those five aces gave Stephens a new career-high.

Durham was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in three consecutive matches.

Paradise's defeat dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Durham, their record now sits at 24-4.

Paradise suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Durham in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Bobcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
