Volleyball Recap: Sonoraville Takes a Loss

Sonoraville lost against Kell back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Phoenix fell just short of the Longhorns by a score of 2-1.

Morgan Guyton paced Sonoraville's offense, picking up 12 kills. Guyton got some help from Jenica Glosson and her 23 assists. Guyton also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Aubreigh Dixon, racking up three apiece.

Sonoraville's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Kell, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Sonoraville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Pickens on the 16th. As for Kell, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Southeast Whitfield County on the 16th.
