Softball Game Preview: Nyack Red Hawks vs. Pearl River Pirates

Nyack is 2-8 against Pearl River since May of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Red Hawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Pirates at 4:45 p.m. Nyack has given up an average of 6.8 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Nyack's offense. They lost 13-0 to Tappan Zee on Tuesday.

Harrison hit Pearl River with a four-run fourth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Pirates fell 7-3 to the Huskies.

Pearl River now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Nyack, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.
