Last Tuesday, Neighborhood House Charter ended up a good deal behind Boston Latin and lost 62-46.
Tavon Rhodes put forth a good effort for the losing side as he dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Juelz McGhee, who scored ten points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Innovation Academy's four-game losing streak dating back to last season came to an end on Friday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 81-47 victory over Nashoba Valley Tech. The score was close at the half, but Innovation Academy pulled away in the second half with 55 points.
Innovation Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Derrick Twum, who scored 25 points along with six rebounds and six steals. Another player making a difference was Bryce Kankam, who scored 20 points.
Neighborhood House Charter's loss dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Innovation Academy, their win bumped their record up to 1-3.
