Basketball Recap: Roxbury Comes Up Short

Roxbury lost against Morris Knolls back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Roxbury Gaels fell 44-33 to the Morris Knolls Golden Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Gaels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 104th, while the Golden Eagles are ranked 25th).

Roxbury's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Morris Knolls, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-1.

Roxbury has already played their next match (against Lenape Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Morris Knolls will square off against Roxbury at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
