Basketball Game Preview: Hubbard Greyhounds vs. King Jaguars

Hubbard is 1-7 against King since February of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Hubbard Greyhounds will be playing in front of their home fans against the King Jaguars at 5:00 p.m.

Hubbard is headed into Thursday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game on Tuesday. They took a blow against Richards, falling 62-20. While losing is never fun, the Greyhounds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 732nd, while the Warriors are ranked 349th).

Meanwhile, King came into Tuesday's matchup having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Brooks on Tuesday, sneaking past 40-38.

Hubbard's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for King, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.
