Basketball Recap: Nodaway Valley Takes a Loss

Nodaway Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were dealt a 67-32 loss at the hands of Southwest Valley. The Wolverines were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-16.

Nodaway Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Southwest Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Nodaway Valley will be playing at home against Martensdale-St. Mary's at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Southwest Valley has already played their next contest (against Wayne), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
