Softball Recap: Richland Northeast Takes a Loss

Richland Northeast lost against Dreher back in April of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cavaliers fell 11-8 to the Blue Devils. That's two games in a row now that the Cavaliers have lost by exactly three runs.

Dayshana Miller made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 3-for-4. Saniya Fleming was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

Richland Northeast's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Dreher, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-7.

Coming up, Richland Northeast will head out to take on Columbia at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Dreher will be paying especially close attention to the Cavaliers' contest: after the Cavaliers faces off against Lakewood, they'll take on Dreher again at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
