Basketball Recap: New Rochelle Comes Up Short

New Rochelle was the 66-51 winner over Scarsdale when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The New Rochelle Huguenots took a 45-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Scarsdale Raiders. The matchup marked the Huguenots' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

New Rochelle dropped their record down to 11-4 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Scarsdale, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 9-4.

Looking ahead, New Rochelle will challenge Mamaroneck at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Mamaroneck's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last ten games. Scarsdale does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
