Basketball Recap: Dublin Takes a Loss

After soaring to 59 points the game before, Dublin was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They were beaten by the Bleckley County Royals 64-22. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Royals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-20 back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Dublin had strong showings from Khalil Maddox, who posted nine points and three steals, and Dajah Taylor, who put up four points and five blocks. Taylor is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Dublin has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-17 record this season. As for Bleckley County, their victory bumped their record up to 14-9.

Dublin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bleckley County, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 56-48 defeat against East Laurens on the 12th.
